News Update 3rd September 2013 – Simpson Millar’s Holiday Solicitors are reading reports on popular travel reviews site, TripAdvisor, that hotel guests staying at the Club Cettia Resort have been struck down by a mysterious bout of gastric sickness.
The Resort which was voted one of TripAdvisors best hotels last year has been the subject of a large number of gastric illness claims in the past. Holidaymakers have successfully claimed compensation for complaints relating to food poisoning and cryptosporidium (dirty swimming pool water).
This must be the third time Simpson Millar have investigated claims of illness and poor hygiene standards at the Club Cettia Resort.
The Club Cettia Resort is rated 4 stars by tour operatorsand is located in Marmaris, Turkey, and has numerous restaurants, pools and bars. Hotel guests should not be subjected to unhygienic practices whilst abroad which could cause gastric illness.
If you have been a victim of food poisoning whilst on a Thomas Cook holiday contact your General Practitioner for medical treatment and then call us for legal advice before speaking with the tour operator.
