Food poisoning and sickness at H TOP Molinos Park!
It has been reported that the H TOP Molinos Park has poor standards of hospitality for hotel guests. The HTOP Molinos hotel in Salou, Spain is advertised on Thomas Cook as a three star hotel and is ranked #43 out of 107 hotels in Salou on Trip Advisor.
The HTOP Molinos Park hotel offers restaurant with buffet food for holidaymakers who choose an all-inclusive option. It is this restaurant and the quality of the food that has recently come under attack, and rightly so.
According to one guest, who wrote on the review site “Trip Advisor”, and had stayed at the hotel in March, “Most of the food was either over cooked or stone cold”. As food gets piled on the buffet, the food at the bottom of the pile can remain on the buffet bar for hours either going cold or stale. This is the time when food can remain at unsafe temperatures and be a haven for bacteria and germs.
Another hotel guest also commenting on the food said “Restaurant very dated! Food was disgusting, cold and inedible!” We’re hearing more and more horror stories regarding the quality of food at all-inclusive hotels.
The standards of food won’t be the only thing that will leave you running to the airport, there are reports of mice, rude staff and bed bugs. One guest said “We arrived at eleven at night, hotel lobby seemed nice, then all hell broke loose in lobby. Ten year old kids being sick over sofa, drunk screaming adults throwing up in the only lift.”
“The room was dirty, stank of sewage, bedding had all holes in. We attempted to talk to management who were useless could not control their hotel, we had to find another 150 euros to pay for another hotel please be aware avoid this hotel.”
This account of someone’s holiday experience shows how hotels are slacking, not only when it comes to hygiene and food safety for holidaymakers, but general cleanliness and overall atmosphere.
